Earth Day is next week! We will be gathering at Little Ski Hill to give love back to the grounds that we spend time on year round. 🌏

Join us during the afternoon on Wednesday, April 22nd from 3pm - 6pm. Lend some time and beautify a well loved space in our community. Any help is appreciated.

This will be a great hands on volunteer opportunity! Tasks include trash and debris pick up around our LSH lodge and parking lot grounds. Assist in sprucing up the exterior of our lodge by washing windows and preparing our deck for our upcoming warm weather community events at Little Ski Hill.
Light refreshments will be provided for our wonderful volunteers.

Bear Basin Nordic Center end of year clean up was accomplished in 70 degree weather. Safe to say that’s a first for us. ☀️ Wishing for a wet Spring.

We have hosted functions of all types including, graduation & retirement parties, birthdays, reunions, bridal & baby showers as well as celebrations of life.
Our sunlit lodge and splaying deck provides a wonderful venue for you to gather and mingle. Let us help you create a memorable experience.

Closing Day at Little Ski Hill, 2026. 🫶🏼

Our closing days were filled with joyous final T•Bar laps and a lodge full of people enjoying pizza slices and burgers or sipping on local brews. The snow was bleak, but remained soft and surfy for our final hours of the 25/26 season.

Closing weekend weather called for rain but we were provided with bursts of sunshine and a slight wind.
We hosted our 15th Annual LSH Banked Slalom on March 14th. 65 competitors achieved 130 laps through our course. It was a day full of shredding and having fun with friends.
This event would not have been possible without our hard-working crew, operations staff, patrol, dedicated volunteers, event sponsors and prize sponsors.

While this season posed its challenges due to weather, we are still here and grateful for all of you. Stay tuned for upcoming fundraising events and summer activities hosted by Payette Lakes Ski Club!

Call your ski pals and get the pups out of the house, early this week for a Nordic ski. Trails are currently skiing great, but the approaching warm weather may put a halt to our grooming operations at Bear Basin Nordic Center. Finish the season strong, we’ll see you on the trails!

Call your friends. Snag a soul lap. Closing day is tomorrow at Little Ski Hill - March 14, 2026.

Come support your favorite Little Hill in its closing hours. Kitchen and T•Bar will be open from Noon - 6pm!

Mack’s Loop is closed, but all other Nordic trails are open and in great shape! Get out soon. We anticipate grooming trails through April 1st, snow conditions permitting.
