There’s nothing quite like the sound of live music filling the halls of The Beehive Retirement Community! we had the pleasure of enjoying the wonderful talent of Ben, who brought his guitar and filled the room with beautiful music.
Residents were tapping their toes, singing along, and soaking up every moment. Music has a special way of bringing people together, lifting spirits, and creating joyful memories — and Ben did just that!

The Beehive Retirement Community of McCleary joins the City of McCleary in honoring the life of former Mayor Donald “Gary” Dent.

Mayor Dent dedicated decades of service to this community — first as a teacher shaping the lives of local students, and later as Mayor serving the citizens of McCleary. We were honored to know him as a former resident and to witness firsthand the kindness and character that made him such a respected member of this community.

In recognition of his service and legacy, we will be joining the City of McCleary in flying our flag at half-staff.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, former students, and all those whose lives he touched. ❤️

This week at The Beehive , we got a little creative and a little crafty! 🧶✨ Our residents spent the afternoon making beautiful dream catchers, each one as unique as the person who made it.colorful threads and lots of laughs, everyone had fun designing their own special piece.
Crafts like this are more than just fun—they spark creativity, bring back memories, and give everyone a chance to relax, laugh, and connect with one another. It was wonderful seeing all the smiles and the pride our residents had in their finished dream catchers!

Today we want to give a big THANK YOU to our amazing Maintenance Supervisor Alister, for everything he does for our community!

From fixing the little things before anyone even notices them, to tackling the big projects that keep our building safe and comfortable, Alister truly does it all. His hard work, dedication, and willingness to jump in wherever he’s needed make a huge difference for both our residents and our team.

Employee Spotlight #4: Hailey Green! 🎉

Today for our Spotlight Crew, we are shouting out Green, Medication Aide at Beehive Retirement Community. Hailey shared what inspired her to work in long-term care, and we love the heart behind her words:

“In long-term care, I get to build real connections and relationships, not just provide a service. I’ve learned that the smallest gestures—a smile, a gentle touch, listening to someone’s favorite story for the tenth time—can mean the world. It’s about honoring who people are, not just caring for their needs.

What drives me is knowing that I can make a difference in someone’s day, even if it’s something as simple as making them laugh, helping them feel safe, or reminding them they are valued and loved.”

♠️♦️ Another Fantastic Poker Night at The Beehive! ♣️♥️
We had another full house and a table full of pros at The Beehive! The chips were stacked high, the competition was friendly (mostly 😉), and the laughter echoed through the room all evening long.
From bold bluffs to surprise winning hands, our residents showed off their skills and kept everyone on their toes. But the real jackpot? The smiles, camaraderie, and memories made around the table.
We love seeing our community come together for nights like this — because at The Beehive, the fun never folds! 🃏✨
