👋 Hi Guys!
With all the new members since we opened the new building, I thought I should introduce myself!
My name is Katie Farrell and I am the owner and lead instructor at Elevate Fit Co! I teach all Reformer Classes and private sessions, I also teach Vinyasa and Restorative yoga on Tuesdays, Barre+Pilates on Wednesdays, and Hot Yoga on Saturdays. I am a certified STOTT Pilates instructor, RYT-200 yoga teacher, Certified Personal Trainer, and Certified Nutrition Coach. I believe that in order to fully enjoy life in our physical bodies, we need to make a focused effort to take care of them. That means…
💪 A balance of butt kicking workouts, focused mind-body movement like yoga and Pilates, and rest 😌
👯♀️ Being a valued member of a community of people that also enjoys balanced movement and taking care of themselves
🥦 Eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg, whole grains, and protein.
Here’s what I DON’T believe in…
❌ Working out to punish yourself or because there is something wrong with you
❌ Exclusivity in community- anyone that wants to move their body, be accepted, be respectful of those around them, and enjoy life is welcome at my studio
❌ Perfection- food is meant to nourish you and your family, be enjoyed, and shared. Keeping a healthy diet as my norm, and regularly enjoying modest amounts of sweets, alcohol, carbs, etc is my ideal. Workout routines can also be imperfect and great at the same time!
My dream is to foster a community in the studio as well as contribute to Elevate Wellness in a way that supports our people (you!), gives you a great workout, helps you feel better mentally and physically, and gives you a place to take care of yourself ❤️
