Jody Wood from the McCook Community Kitchen Project “Recipe As Remedy” to collaborate with our residents to gather knowledge of recipes and remedies learned from parents and grandparents before medicine was industrialized or easily accessible. Residents shared their recipes from a bread and milk poultice to help with splinter removal to cough and cold treatments. Thank you Jody for including our community!
