Meet Dr. Kaylee Mayo, O.D.! We’re excited to begin introducing the newest doctor joining VisionQuest Eyecare in Greenwood this July. Originally from Bloomington, Dr. Mayo earned her biology degree from Indiana University, completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at IU School of Optometry, and is currently completing a residency in primary care. She has a special interest in primary eye care, ocular disease, and dry eye, and she loves connecting with patients and helping them see clearly. We’re so glad to have her joining the VisionQuest family and the Greenwood community. A few weeks ago, we were proud to support first grade vision screenings across 7 HSE schools this season, helping check visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, eye alignment, refractive error, and overall eye health!
These school screenings are an important first step because they can help identify children who may need a more in-depth comprehensive eye exam based on state guidelines.
