DAY 15 — Alone Isn’t the Same as Lonely

I used to dread times like Valentine’s Day… honestly, any holiday for that matter.

Because I was single.

And even when I was in a relationship…

I was still single.

Single in my spirit.
Single in my emotions.
Single in the way I felt unseen, unmet, and unsupported.

But the moment I experienced true love…

It changed the game for me.

Not because someone finally chose me…

But because I chose me first.

I chose healing.
I chose wholeness.
I chose peace.

And when you choose yourself the way God chooses you, you stop needing a holiday to validate your worth.

Now I can face any special day…

Any celebration…

And still be happy.
