🎗️ October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month🎗️

Did you know: 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime? Each year in the U.S., nearly 279,731 new cases are reported.

The good news: when detected early and confined to the breast, the 5-year survival rate is about 99%.

🩺 How to help detect early:
• Know your breast “normal” — do regular self-checks
• Schedule routine clinical exams and mammograms starting around age 40 (or earlier if you’re higher risk)
• If you have dense breast tissue or risk factors, talk to your doctor about supplemental imaging

Let’s spread awareness, support, and action. Early detection saves lives. 💗
