MFL MarMac K–3rd Field Trips to the McGregor Public Library concluded today with the 3rd graders!

Thank you to all the wonderful students who visited our library. You were awesome at listening and participating in circus bingo, circus trivia, book check-out, and learning about Ringling history.

Thank you to Miss Lu, Mrs. Stollenwerk, Miss Michelle, and our volunteer Abby for organizing, setting up, and running activity stations.

Candids from MFL MarMac Kindergarten and 2nd grade field trips to the McGregor Public Library --

Students played Circus Bingo with Mrs. Stollenwerk and library volunteer Abby, learned about the Ringling Circus with Trivia with Miss Lu, and learned Ringling history in McGregor with Miss Michelle.

McGregor Public Library field trips started today with the 1st graders! we will have Kindergarten, 2nd, and 3rd grade classes visit soon! we were so busy at the circus stations that I only got a couple photos this time!

From fabric donations to finished projects ❤

Homeschool Co-op students made bags in Sewing Fundamentals. They couldn't have done it without the generous fabric donations to the McGregor Public Library.

Thank you to all who donated fabric, and for supporting hands-on learning!

(The kids will continue sewing each Tuesday with more creative and useful projects!)

McGregor Library's March Book Club Discussion: "Little Heathens"

When Little Heathens was released it was called by the New York Times Book Review -- "One of the 10 Best Books of the Year"

Pick up your copy at the library. Described as "pure charm, wry, affectionate, and delightful" memories of growing up on an Iowa farm during the Great Depression. "A childhood that built character, fed the intellect, and stirred the imagination"
