What an amazing Thanksgiving lunch we shared at our facility today.
This meal is more than a tradition, it’s a celebration of fellowship, shared purpose, and God’s goodness in providing us with one another. Scripture reminds us in 1 Thessalonians: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Today, we lived out that verse by giving thanks not only for the food before us, but for the people gathered here with us. 🧡🦃
A heartfelt thank you to our very owns: Jackie, who poured her love, time, and talent into home cooking this entire meal right in our kitchen. Her dedication created a feast that felt so much like home for our residents and family. And to Tricia, her support, hard work, and willingness to jump in wherever needed made everything smooth and more special. Our activities coordinator Jennifer, went above and beyond, putting so much care into the presentation and atmosphere; the space looked absolutely beautiful because of her vision with our amazing family members Cathy and Christi who assisted in perfecting the set up.
Our community partners, Gentiva Hospice, Baylor Scott & White Hospice, Alamo Hospice, TexMed Home Health, and Amedisys, as always, stepped in with their generous hearts and helping hands, reminding us how blessed we are to have such strong support surrounding our residents. And Courtney, who opened our gathering with a truly moving prayer that set the tone for a day filled with gratitude and warmth.
For our residents, they outdid themselves in the most beautiful way. They crafted their own centerpieces with such care, creativity, and pride, and each one reflected their personalities and the constant joy that they bring every single day. ✨
