Action proceeds motivation. That’s a hard truth about the human brain. If you’re waiting for the ~feeling~ of motivation to get started…you’re going to be waiting for a long time. Once you just force yourself to get up and get started, the motivation feeling will follow. And suddenly you’re actually enjoying the task and making progress. Any bit of progress is better than none at all. It doesn’t have to be perfect, you just have to start.
