Yesterday, UPMC McKeesport Family Medicine hosted a combined didactic session with our colleagues from UPMC St. Margaret and UPMC Shadyside Family Medicine programs! 🌟
Together, we participated in a poverty simulation, an eye-opening experience that deepened our understanding of the daily challenges faced by patients living with limited resources. Grateful for the collaboration, reflection, and shared commitment to compassionate, equitable care!

Come join us at our first teaching kitchen at 5:30pm on Wednesday 12th November at Latterman Family Health Center, where we will be showing you how to make a delicious meal from nutritious ingredients. All five senses will be incorporated in this event - that's right, even TASTE. We're planning to make something that's perfect for the weather. What will it be? You'll have to come to see!

Great food, better company! This month’s Dinner of the Month was hosted by Dr. Doshi at Kaya in downtown Pittsburgh, where we enjoyed amazing Caribbean dishes (the bean dip stole the show!). Thank you, Dr. Doshi, for your warmth, mentorship, and the wonderful evening. ❤️

Earlier this week, one of our biannual brigades arrived in San José. They started off the week strong as we normally do- meeting with the health committee. It’s part of the important work of working side by side/ “shoulder to shoulder” with our Honduran friends
