Attention seniors. If you haven’t checked out the Monday Morning Breakfast Club at Hometown Clinic, what are you waiting for. A bite of breakfast, a cup of coffee and some fun with new friends. Here are some of the things we did this month. The next time we meet will be April 6th when Patti Cunningham and Donna Walker will be speakers regarding mental health.

Today was our much anticipated Pop-Up Art Gallery Show with our surprise feature art subjects being our Lakeside Residents!! A big thank you to Mathew Page for helping our organizer, Sheila Willis with the Art, Delta Phi Nu from Bethel University for serving as hostesses and Ira Cunningham for donating our raffle basket. Zoom in to see our Residents portrayed as they self described “their favorite thing to do”. We enjoyed seeing family and friends on this beautiful day.

Residents and Staff alike had fun with St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans at Lakeside Senior Living 🌈 🍀 Thai Saul was our Lucky Leperchaun dice game winner.

Residents were honored to fix lunch and serve the Bethel Lady Wildcats. The players dined on Grilled Chicken Fettuccine, Roasted Vegetables, Garden Salad and Rolls served by Carol French, Clark Brown and Sue Smith. For dessert Lonelle McMillen made her Tiger Paw Cake. Marilyn Ward and Julie Garner served Lemonade and Water. Charles Garner helped with seconds To-Go. Thai Saul and Joan Brown were Greeters. Lakeside wishes you Good Luck this weekend and with the rest of the season. We are proud of these young ladies and have enjoyed watching them play and want to Thank them for the gifted Bethel shirts for our resident fans.

Employee Appreciation Day was celebrated last week here at Lakeside! Our residents had a program to recognize our wonderful and dedicated team. The team also received special gifts and a chair massage as a way to say “thank you” for all you do!!

The party bus was loaded with residents ready to have a big time at the Senior St Patty Dance at the Civic Center and they did just that.

What a nice surprise it was for residents to have one on one home visits from Huntingdon 1st Baptist Church. Members brought each resident a fruit basket and offered up prayers and words of encouragement during their time together. God bless you all.
