Dear Hoopa Community,

In response to recent events and the school closure today, Two Feathers Native American Family Services will have staff available at the Two Feathers Wellness Village (9632 HWY 96) from 12:00 PM–4:00 PM to provide a safe and supportive space for youth.

Our team will have clinical support available for any youth who may need someone to talk to, as well as food, activities, and a welcoming place to spend time during the day. Youth are welcome to come by and connect with staff and peers in a safe environment.

If transportation is a barrier or if you have any questions, please reach out to Keoki Burbank at (707) 497-9861.

Please help spread the word to families and youth who may benefit from having a safe place to be today.

✨ Our 3rd year at the BAAITS Powwow and it just keeps getting better! ✨

We had the honor of bringing 25 amazing youth with us this year, and it was truly such a fun, meaningful, and joy-filled experience. Huge thank you to BAAITS for hosting such a beautiful gathering and creating space for community, culture, and connection.

Grateful for our community partners Blue Lake Rancheria and Q***r Humboldt for helping make this trip possible and the biggest shoutout to the youth who brought all the good energy, laughter, and memories.
