My approach to speech therapy is unique because it is a skilled intervention with an emphasis on parent education and empowerment.
As soon as the child achieves success, I will hand off the activity to the parent and assist the parent in achieving that same outcome with the child.
The goal is not for the child just to develop this skill in the therapy room alone, but to be able to transfer that skill successfully at home and in the community.
Speech-language therapy services include:
Feeding Therapy
Language Therapy
Early Intervention
Articulation Therapy
Teletherapy
I love what I do
I have been a practicing speech-language pathologist specializing in the area of pediatrics in both the acute care & rehabilitation setting for nine years and I believe in speech-language pathology because children are our future.
My husband and I have been blessed with three beautiful girls; Olivia, Adeline, and Emma. A typical day for me consists of raising these kiddos, riding the Peloton, at-home therapy sessions helping others, and back hanging out with my family. Needless to say, the love I have for family & children goes beyond measure.
Children are everything and I really mean that.
If a child can’t communicate it’s a problem – by the time parents realize it’s a problem … it’s a pattern. My private practice setting allows me to treat children properly by making a positive & measurable change. Helping parents & children is truly my dream job and I am so thankful to be able to make a difference in others’ lives.
