I started this health journey in October 2011 after reaching 260 pounds and 30% body fat. After witnessing my Father, the late great Pastor Eddie Jordan Jr., suffer stroke after stroke, along with the rapid health decline and death of my Uncles; I knew I would die soon if I didn’t make a change. Utilizing the traditional diet of moderation and portion control combined with vigorous exercise, I lost 75 pounds by April 2012. I continued losing weight until reaching 168 lbs, with 4% body fat as of November 2012, and reversed my high blood pressure during this time. Eventually, low-carb portion control dieting became too challenging to maintain, and I slowly regained weight, reaching 195 pounds in May 2013. At this time, I started to study the connection between what we EAT and disease, especially according to The Holy Scriptures. Utilizing the Medicine Foods Of God as taught in the book of Sirach Chapter 38:4 – “THE MOST-HIGH HAS CREATED MEDICINES FROM THE EARTH, HE WHO IS WISE WOULD NOT ABHOR THEM,” I witnessed the miraculous healing power of consuming a nutrient-dense plant-RICH diet. I cured myself of high triglycerides after a Cardiologist was looking to place me on prescription medications, and he was shocked when my levels went from over 300 to under 70 mg in just 42 days. Eating The Medicine Fruits and Vegetables of God cured my frequent headaches and aching joints. I continued diving into the knowledge of the relationship between food and disease. The more I learned, the more I desired to share my experience and expertise with the world, especially The Body of Christ. Fellow Police Officers sought my nutritional advice, and when I started helping others learn how to eat better and exercise, I realized I had found my life’s calling. In 2014, I became a Certified Personal Trainer; in August 2016, I became a Certified Health Coach. I left Law Enforcement to start a Health Ministry– the Ministry of Wellness, Inc. The mission of my organization is to inform, educate, and motivate the entire world regarding the healing power of the MEDICINE FOODS OF GOD & His Holy Way of Living. It disturbs me how the masses are not being adequately taught about the power of food to either destroy or heal our bodies. Although I love being a full-time Minister of Wellness, 12 consecutive years serving this country as a Marine and in my hometown of St. Louis, MO, as a Police Officer helped tremendously in having the discipline, focus, and resolve I need to accomplish the monumental task before me. People always ask me, “Why do you call yourself The Minister of Wellness?” GOD gave me my title because Minister means “TO SERVE,” and “wellness” is the ongoing process of being healthy. Also, The Word of God is clear: eating and drinking things that destroy our health is a SIN. My mission is to help you achieve and maintain PERMANENT health.
