Celebrating Dr. Seuss with Our Young Friends!

In honor of Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, our residents enjoyed a heartwarming intergenerational celebration with the children from Explore Montessori across the street.

Our residents had a wonderful time preparing special treat bags for the children and reading beloved Dr. Seuss stories together. The room was filled with laughter, smiles, and the joy that only comes when generations connect.

Spending quality time with these bright young minds brought so much happiness to our residents. They are already looking forward to many more intergenerational activities and future visits!
Moments like these truly remind us that learning, laughter, and connection have no age limit.

Our residents took full advantage of the sunshine today, stepping outside to enjoy the fresh air after indulging in delicious pistachio ice cream in celebration of National Pistachio Day.

From the rhythms of samba and bossa nova to the bold flavors of Brazilian cuisine, residents are immersing themselves in the culture, history, music, and traditions that make this country so dynamic and diverse.

Throughout the month, we’re exploring traditional Brazilian dishes, music and dance experienc. art and cultural highlights the beauty of Brazil’s landscapes and landmarks and educational moments that spark conversation and connection.

Passport to Adventure brings residents and members together, encourages new experiences, and celebrates the richness of our global community.

Creative Moments and Meaningful Connections in Parkside

Our Parkside residents have been having a wonderful time participating in a variety of engaging group activities. From painting and folding tasks to creating beautiful flower arrangements, each activity offers a chance for creativity and self-expression. Some residents also especially enjoy table games and interactive time at the Tovar table, where laughter and connection fill the room.

Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to provide opportunities that bring joy, purpose, and social connection to our residents each day.

Green Thumb in Action

One of our wonderful Parkside residents has been having an amazing time with indoor herb gardening, and it’s clear she has a natural gift for growing beautiful plants. She’s already looking forward to March, when she can get back outside and continue doing what she loves most — gardening in the sunshine.

Moments like these remind us how meaningful it is to nurture passions and create opportunities for joy every day. We can’t wait to see her garden bloom.

Passport Adventure to China came alive in Parkside!

Our residents had an absolute blast during this month’s themed cooking class as they rolled up their sleeves and became chefs for the day! Together, we created a delicious Chinese favorite — Crab Rangoon wontons — and the smiles were just as wonderful as the flavors.

From learning new skills to sharing laughs and tasting their homemade creations, it was a joyful cultural experience that brought everyone together. Moments like these are what make our community so special!

Touchdown and cheers all around!

Our residents had an absolute blast at our Super Bowl party! We gathered together to watch the big game, cheer on our favorite teams, and enjoy some delicious game-day favorites. From tasty snacks and classic football foods to ice-cold beers, it was the perfect way to celebrate!

There was lots of laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of spirited conversations about plays, commercials, and halftime highlights. Most of all, it was a wonderful time spent together making memories and enjoying the excitement of the game.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make our Super Bowl celebration such a winning event!

We proudly hosted our Passport to China Family Night, and what a wonderful evening it was! The community was beautifully decorated with traditional Chinese décor, creating an immersive and festive atmosphere. Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course Chinese-inspired menu while listening to traditional Chinese music featuring a special cultural instrument performance.

Our residents and their families truly enjoyed the experience, the food, and the time spent together. The smiles, laughter, and excitement made the night extra special. We look forward to bringing you many more exciting Passport adventures ahead!
