Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
And I already know what you’re thinking: “I’ll just do everything in moderation.”
Here’s what I’ve learned after 25+ years: Moderation doesn’t work.
Not because you lack willpower. But because sugary, carby, processed foods are literally addictive.

Your “normal” labs aren’t telling the whole story.
You knew something was off. You felt it in your body. But they ran some tests, shrugged, and sent you home with “everything looks fine.”
Here’s what they didn’t tell you: hormone testing without cycle tracking is completely useless.
Progesterone on day 8? Meaningless.
Estrogen on a random Tuesday? Worthless.
Testing without knowing WHERE you are in your cycle? Just expensive guessing.
But here’s the other problem: they’re not testing nearly enough.
They’ll check your TSH and maybe one or two hormones and call it comprehensive. That’s like trying to construct a sentence without the vowels. You can’t see the full picture when you’re only getting fragments.
Your progesterone needs to be tested on day 19-21 of your cycle (where day 1 = first day of your period). And you need WAY more markers than what they’re ordering. Otherwise, those “normal” results? They’re hiding everything.
