Small adjustments can make a big difference at the bench.

When handling reagents, ergonomics matter—for safety, efficiency, and peace of mind. If you’re using the new StatGrip bottle, a few simple techniques can help reduce strain and minimize spills during pouring:

✔ Adjust the bottle’s position: Elevate or lower the bottle to waist height to avoid excessive bending or reaching. Tilting the bottle toward the edge of the surface can also reduce the force needed to lift.
✔ Use a two-handed grip: Hold the top handle with one hand and the side handle with the other to better balance the weight during pouring.
✔ Pour slowly and steadily: The new StatGrip design allows for a faster pour, so be prepared—especially with a full bottle. When pouring from the top, you may need to hold the bottle slightly farther from the container than you’re used to.
✔ Use a funnel: Direct the solution cleanly into the container to help minimize splashes and spills.

Thoughtful design, paired with smart handling, helps keep labs safer and workflows running smoothly.

The StatLab team stepped back in time earlier this month to celebrate the holiday season—in 1920s style.

From sharp suits and flapper flair to great conversations and plenty of laughs, our Christmas party was a chance to come together, unwind, and celebrate the people who make this team so special. Moments like these remind us that behind the work we do every day, it’s our people who truly make the difference.

Thanks to everyone who dressed to impress and helped make the night one to remember. Cheers to a great year—and an even brighter one ahead.
