PHA wanted to share additional information regarding the recall of the ByHeart Formula.

The CDC, FDA, public health officials in several states, and the Infant Botulism Treatment and Prevention Program are investigating a multistate outbreak of infant botulism connected to recalled infant formula. Current data suggest that ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula may be contaminated with Clostridium botulinum and has been linked to infant illnesses. On November 8, 2025, ByHeart Inc. recalled two lots of its Whole Nutrition Infant Formula.

ByHeart Formula has issued a recall on their formula. We have have attached a link to their website for our families.

In response to a broader FDA investigation of infant botulism in babies across the U.S, and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to initiate a voluntary recall of two batches of ByHeart Whole Nutrition Infant Formula.
