Add color.
Add nutrients.
Add intention.
Add foods that help your body do what it was created to do.

When you focus on building a balanced plate instead of following extreme rules, you create a way of eating that feels good, fits real life, and actually lasts.

Food is one of the most powerful tools you have for healing, strengthening, and protecting your body.

What is one simple upgrade you can add to your next meal?

This time of year, far too many people take the approach of “waiting until the holidays are over.” But the truth? Small choices this week matter more than perfect choices in January. Your body doesn’t hit pause just because the calendar gets busy. Take the walk. Drink the water. Eat the meal that makes you feel good, then enjoy your some of favorites with zero guilt. Consistency beats intensity, every season.

Okay, let's talk cold & flu season survival mode. Before we even get to the good stuff, a friendly reminder: Maybe skip the giant candy bowl and cut back on the happy hour drinks while you're battling the bugs, they don't help the immune system.

Now, for the real heroes. These foods actually have your back, helping you sleep better, get those vitamins, keep your gut happy, and fight off germs.

Looking to pack on a few festive pounds? Follow this simple (and highly effective) plan:

Step 1: Skip your workouts. You’re way too busy for that nonsense, plus who wants more energy anyway?

Step 2: Treat yourself...everyday.It’s the holidays! Calories are basically confetti, they don’t count if you’re celebrating.

Step 3: Save your calories. Starve all day, then make up for it with a 3-plate dinner and a dessert sampler, plus that hot coca with marshmallows and candy cane.

Step 4: Stress more, sleep less. Who needs rest when you can run on peppermint mochas and pure panic?

Step 5: Wait until January. Your health is a problem for future you anyway.

Or … skip the holiday weight plan and let us help you feel good now, not later. 😉

Here are five unusual but research-backed eating habits that help with weight loss:

Use Smaller Plates and Bowls:
It sounds simple, but eating from a smaller plate can trick your brain into feeling satisfied with less. Research shows that we often eat based on visual cues, so a smaller plate makes portions appear larger, which may reduce the urge to overeat.

Eat in Front of a Mirror:
Watching yourself eat can heighten self-awareness. A study found that eating in front of a mirror may make you more aware of your choices and likely to consume less, as it reminds you of your health goals.

Turn the Lights Up and Music Down:
Dim lights and loud music can create a “mindless eating” atmosphere, where you might not notice how much you're consuming. Bright lights and softer music, on the other hand, may help you focus more on your food and be more mindful of your portions.

Start Meals with a Glass of Water:
Drinking water before a meal can help you feel fuller faster, potentially leading to reduced calorie intake. Sometimes thirst is mistaken for hunger, so this simple habit might prevent unnecessary snacking.

Eat with Your Non-Dominant Hand:
Using your non-dominant hand can slow you down, making it harder to mindlessly overeat. Studies suggest that eating more slowly gives your body time to register fullness, which may help you eat less overall.

These habits aren’t guaranteed, but they’re easy to try, and research suggests they could be surprisingly effective!

Every year, “cold and flu season” comes back with a vengeance, but what if the weather isn’t the real problem...

The immune system is susceptible to infections. It has the tendency to get weak which is one of the main reasons why people get colds and are often overcome by flu.

“It’s an interesting mix of problems we face in America: many of us are dying from eating too much, while others are dying from not eating enough. Why not work on both at the same time?”
– Thomas Jensen, Founder

Your thoughts don’t form in a vacuum. They’re shaped by what you watch, read, scroll through, and listen to. Fill your mind with noise and negativity, and your body will feel the weight of it.

Stress, worry, and negativity don’t just live in your head. They show up in your sleep, your hormones, your energy, and your choices. But when you fill your mind with truth, hope, and peace, your health begins to reflect it.
