We are a counseling practice focused on the well-being of our clients and their families. Therapy is a journey in which we discover ourselves.

Our licensed graduate professionals will help you find the focus that you need to achieve your potential and cope with life’s stress. We help you identify your goals, focus on them, and identify any obstacles that may be preventing you from achieving them. We help you develop a strategy of action to deal with your obstacles and overcome them. We help you stay dedicated to your plan by being present to you on a weekly basis and reviewing your progress. Proud to have spoken to the James Madison High School football team on behalf of the Eric Monday Foundation for the second consecutive year. The Eric Monday Foundation aims to of mental health and build resources for young athletes to feel comfortable getting help when they need it. What an amazing group of athletes with a bright future and an incredible team on coaches and parents to help them along the way. Thank you!

The cold weather and rain didn’t stop us from speaking with the fantastic faculty and staff at Bullis School early this morning. Outreach and education are of upmost importance within the mental health field, so we are incredibly thankful to work with such a receptive community. Thank you for having us!

It was a beautiful weekend here in the DC area. Our own Patrick Ryan, LPC, was able to attend his 20 year high school reunion at Gonzaga College High School. Patrick has remained close to his alma mater not only through his long-standing friendships, but also through his professional specialties and outreach. Time flies, but being a “Man for Others” is lifelong. 🦅💜

Matthew offers particular expertise with ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression and sports performance.

Working with families and children

Patrick is a cancer survivor and knows firsthand the behavioral impacts and life transformation for families dealing with disease and other issues.

Progress towards a healthy and meaningful life

Katharine regularly works with children, teens and adults in hospital, residential and outpatient settings.

She has worked in areas of domestic violence, sexual abuse and op**te addictions, among other areas.
