Mandible contouring or v-line surgery is an important part of facial feminization surgery. Its extreme versatility makes it an indispensable tool in the hands of the Surgeon who desires a more delicate yet defined jawline for the patient. The T-shaped sliding genioplasty has the potential to reduce the height, refine and set back or advance the chin bone in elegant and efficient way. Along with feminizing the nose we had to also straighten it to obviate for the effects of a previous facial trauma that resulted in a crooked nose.
