Hamilton Memorial Senior Enrichment still has Antique Angels available to adopt or sponsor, and we would be grateful for your support. Gifts or sponsorships are due this Friday, December 5.

The Hamilton Memorial McLeansboro Family Clinic will be closed on Saturday, November 29, and Sunday, November 30. Normal hours will resume on Monday, December 1.

The Hamilton Memorial Carmi Family Clinic, located at 1112 Oak Street, will be open on Saturday, November 29, with normal operating hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

UPDATE: The phone lines at Hamilton Memorial Family Clinic and Carmi Family Clinic were down earlier this morning but are now back up and working. Both clinics are open and operating as normal today. Thank you for your patience!

The Hamilton Memorial Family Clinics in Carmi and McLeansboro will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, November 27, in observance of Thanksgiving.

Both clinics will reopen on Friday with normal operating hours.

We're grateful for the opportunity to spend the morning at the White County Senior Citizen Center. Halie Ragan, RN, and Kathryn Adams, FNP-C, hosted a lively morning of bingo and enjoyed connecting with the seniors who joined in.

Community involvement is an important part of our mission, and we value every opportunity to support and engage with our friends and neighbors. We look forward to growing these connections throughout the new year.

Hamilton Memorial Hospital was pleased to welcome SSM Health and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital to our campus today for hands-on training with our Emergency Department team. The session focused on emergency deliveries and pediatric care, ensuring our staff remain fully prepared to care for even the smallest and most vulnerable patients.

Our Emergency Department takes this responsibility seriously, and continued training helps keep skills sharp, strengthens clinical readiness, and supports the high standard of care our community deserves. We are grateful for the collaboration and for the expertise shared with our team.

Hamilton Memorial Senior Enrichment is once again hosting the Antique Angel Tree Program, and this year’s angels are ready to be adopted.

You can choose to adopt an angel and receive a list of items needed for your angel, then shop for their gifts. If you prefer to sponsor an angel, a $40 donation will ensure the shopping is done on your behalf.

Every contribution brings comfort and joy to a local senior this holiday season.

Hamilton Memorial Hospital District is proud to recognize Jesse H. as our November Employee Spotlight. Jesse has been part of our team for just over four years, serving as an Environmental Services Technician. EVS staff play an essential role in maintaining a safe, clean, and healing environment for our patients, visitors, and staff, and Jesse approaches that responsibility with consistency and pride.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Hamilton Memorial Hospital, Jesse shared, “I enjoy working at Hamilton Memorial Hospital because the people here make every day better. It makes coming to work something I can look forward to.”

Hamilton Memorial Hospital District is recognizing World Diabetes Day by joining healthcare organizations around the globe in raising awareness for this widespread condition. Today, our clinic providers and staff are wearing blue to show their support for everyone affected by diabetes.
