The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to households that earned $84,000 or less in the previous year. VITA is a financial stability initiative of the United Way. Through trained, IRS-certified volunteers, VITA supports working households—especially ALICE families (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed)—by ensuring they claim eligible credits, avoid costly filing fees, and keep more of their hard-earned money. This service promotes financial stability.

VITA will be open at Motlow on March 5th & 19th and April 2nd from 12pm-4pm.
