Sometimes the reset we need isn’t complicated.

Fresh air.
Bare feet on the ground.
Sunlight on your face.
A slower breath.
A moment without noise.

The body often feels balance faster than the mind does.

Today feels like a good reminder that healing doesn’t always come from adding more.

Sometimes it comes from reconnecting with what was already here. Remember to touch the ground today and give thanks for giving you all the building blocks necessary to let you be a participant in this life experiment.

You can adapt to stress so well… that you forget it’s costing you.

Tight shoulders become normal.
Shallow breathing becomes normal.
Running on edge becomes normal.
Feeling tired but unable to relax becomes normal.

The body is incredibly intelligent.

It learns how to survive.

But survival mode often feels normal... until you experience something different.

Sometimes the first step isn’t fixing anything.

It’s realizing what you’ve gotten used to.

That realization can change a lot.

I’ve been building something simple to help people reconnect with what calm actually feels like.

If you want something simple to explore today try this...

Next time you notice tension somewhere in your body,
don’t stretch it right away.

Pause.

Take a slow breath in through your nose.

Then a longer exhale out.

Do that a few times. And just notice.

Does anything shift... even a little?

Not because you forced it, but because your body felt a little safer.

This is where things start to change.

Not in doing more, but in creating the conditions for your body to respond differently.

Quick check…

When your body feels tight what’s your first instinct?

Stretch it?
Dig into it?
Push through it?

That works sometimes, for the moment.

But a lot of the time tension isn’t just a flexibility problem...

It’s protection.

Your body is saying this doesn’t feel safe to let go yet.

So when you go in aggressively… it pushes back.

That’s why the same spots keep coming back.
Stretching only lasts a little while.

Deep tissue feels good… but doesn’t always stick.

What tends to help more?

Giving your body a reason to feel SAFE.

Sometimes that looks like...
slowing your breath,
backing off intensity,
supporting instead of forcing.

It’s simple.

But it changes things...

I facilitated my first online healing circle today.

And honestly… it exceeded anything I expected

The theme was boundaries and consent

Not just in the obvious ways

But in the subtle ones. In the body. How it FEELS.

How we say yes when we mean maybe.
How we stay when something in us wants space.
How often we override what we feel just to avoid rocking the boat.

What stood out to me the most wasn’t what was said It was what people started to feel.

You could see the shift.

From thinking about boundaries. To actually sensing them in the body

That moment when someone pauses and realizes I don’t have to push past this I can listen instead.

That’s the work. Learning to trust yourself.

Not forcing change, but creating enough safety that something honest can show up.

I am so grateful for everyone who showed up and trusted the process.

There’s something powerful about doing this in a group and the Ah Ha moments that come both from a share as well as the experience.

You start to realize you’re not the only one figuring this out.

And that alone changes things...

I’m teaching my first paid yoga class this Saturday, which means I finally get to do it my way.

Not a class prepared for a final but something that represents who I am...
and it feels different than I expected...

I’m not focused on teaching a perfect class, but on creating a space where people can actually feel their body.

Lately I’ve been working with Patience… and Action.

Not rushing the process, BUT also not waiting for everything to be perfect before I move. Allowing but not procrastinating. Nothing crazy hard, but something that allows you to challenge yourself.

That’s what this class will be about.

We’ll move… breathe… maybe shake things out a bit…

Explore what it feels like to stay present without forcing anything.

If you’ve been in Kerry’s class before, I’ll do my best to honor what she’s built
while bringing a little of my own experience into the room.

You know most people don't realize how much they're holding their breath until they take the time to slow down and just notice...

So let's take just a moment to slow down and notice what's going on around you.

Pull your attention to one or two items nothing specific and not too focused but just pulling your attention to it... Now take a breath in through your nose and exhale longer... and do that three or four times and see what you notice.

Now you might notice your shoulders drop, maybe even your gaze just soften a little bit.

That's your nervous system settling in... Not because you need to fix anything but because it's coming into safety.

This is the kind of work I've been building into my seven-day reset.

Simple, practical, and something your body can actually use.

I’ve been sitting with everything I’ve been learning lately…

and instead of just keeping it in my head or using it only in sessions…

I started outlining something

A simple 7-day reset
focused on helping the body slow down… reconnect… and actually feel safe again

As I was building it, something became really clear to me…

Most people don’t need more information

they need a place to start feeling different

Not overwhelmed
Not pushed
Not trying to get it “right”

just something they can actually follow through with

That’s what I’m working on right now

Something simple
Something practical
Something your nervous system can keep up with

I’m aiming to have it ready by April 28

I’ll share pieces as I go

🌄This morning reminded me why fear will never lead someone to God.✝️

I woke up early this morning, no alarm, no ambulance, no annoying air brake from a big rig outside my front window.

I woke up with a sense of lightness, readiness, and purpose. You see I've been playing with the idea of moving my career, not in a new direction, but refining it.

Yesterday I had an experience with a client that validated that shift. A shift toward connecting people to themselves, a shift toward regulating the nervous system, a shift toward creating a safe container to let people just be and release what they've been holding on to.

I decided since I got up early this morning that I would head to my church at Buffalo mountain. I was delighted to find the gates open early this morning so that I could get to the top early and enjoy all the colors that come with the time before the sunrise.

On my walk up, I was confronted by a troubled young man waving his Bible at me, obviously scared, and telling me there's not much time, there's not much time, do you believe in Jesus!?

I told him that was why I was here, to connect with my Creator and this was my time to be closer to him. He continued in a manic state as I calmly told him that the only way to truly save people is to lead by example, to have true communion with the creator was to be silent and listen.

I told him that scaring people into belief isn't true belief and that the only path to connect to everything is through yourself.

As I separated myself from the trail, and from him, I continued on my journey and in the distance every once in awhile I could hear the cry and scream of the troubled young man who has decided to focus on the fear of others instead of the safety of knowing that he has already been saved.

I was blessed this morning to be able to share this moment with the two closest people to me, my partner on video and my Creator. Oh and Chloe😍

I’ve spent a lot of years learning how to “fix” the body…
but the deeper I go, the more I realize…

HERE IS THE KEY->the body doesn’t need to be fixed…
it needs to feel SAFE enough to respond

I'm proud of my studies and commitment to healing myself. I recently completed a 60-hour Breathwork & Movement Therapy certification focused on trauma healing And what stood out most wasn’t just the techniques…

…it was the reminder that healing doesn’t come from forcing change It comes from:
• creating safety
• allowing the nervous system to unwind
• and giving the body space to complete what it’s been holding

This is the direction my work has been moving for a while now…
and I’m feeling called to share more of it

Not just in sessions, but in a way that more people can experience it

I’m currently building something I’m really excited about

A simple, guided experience to help people reconnect with their body and calm their nervous system

Ever feel stuck between waiting… and wanting to move forward?

✨ Patience… and Action. ✨

Two things I’ve been sitting with lately.

Patience… trusting that things unfold the way they’re meant to.
Action… showing up anyway, even when it’s not perfect.

This class feels like both.

I’ll be stepping in for Kerry while she is in India,
and I’m bringing a class rooted in slowing down…
while still moving forward.

Not forcing… not rushing…
just listening, breathing, and allowing the body to lead.
