Happy one year to Snow!
When asked to reflect on her time at Marjorie House, Snow shared:
When I first came to Marjorie House, I never imagined I’d still be here a year later. I didn’t expect to grow the way I have, to learn so much, to find a workplace that truly feels like family, or to love what I do as much as I do now.

But the most surprising part of this past year hasn’t been how fast time has gone or even sitting down to write this… it’s been the residents.

Activities may be my job though some days “Chaos Coordinator” feels a little more accurate but I wouldn’t trade a single moment. Because every smile, no matter how small, makes it all worth it.

Happy 1 Year, Michelle!
When asked to reflect on her time at Marjorie House, Michelle shared:
“A year at Marjorie House Memory Care has changed me in ways I didn’t expect. What started as just a job became something deeply personal; something I carry with me even after I clock out. I’ve grown to truly love the residents, not just for who they are in the present, but for the pieces of their stories they share in quiet moments, in laughter, or even in confusion. I know it’s cliché, but it really does feel like they are my grandparents. There’s a kind of warmth in that place that’s hard to explain, a feeling that what we do matters in small, meaningful ways every single day. I’m incredibly grateful to have been accepted into this job, to be trusted with their care, and to be part of a space where compassion isn’t just expected, it’s lived.”

Feeling extra lucky at Marjorie House today! 🍀
We celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with gold coin bingo, tasty treats, Roll-A-Rainbow, and a very important leprechaun hunt. Safe to say the fun was pure gold! 🌈💛

Happy 2 years to Jaycee!

It is a privilege to spend two years in a memory care home. I truly cherish the sense of community and the many friendships I formed with fellow residents and staff. I love being able to make everything squeky clean🫧 Overall, it has been filled with warmth, support, and many cherished memories.
