Breaking! In a huge win for AFC patients, legislation has been introduced in the House of Representatives to amend federal law to mandate insurance coverage for chest wall reconstruction and flat closure! The American Society of Plastic Surgeons sponsored this groundbreaking bill, which incorporates NPOAS' own legislative initiative's language. THANK YOU ASPS!

Join NPOAS and the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services Program for Breast Cancer in Young Adults to hear from experts in breast implant removal (explant) and to learn more about emerging literature on breast implant illness, the history of breast implants as medical devices and their regulation, and explant surgery. A panel of three patients will also share their experiences with breast implant illness and explant.
