Our office will be closed Thursday, October 16 for Software Upgrades & Staff Training

We have some great enhancements that are on the way. Our office will be closed this Thursday, October 16, 2025 while our staff takes part in training on new software. We will return any messages left during that time as soon as we are able.

We are excited about the new features, communication, and payment options it will offer for you as a patient. It will also allow us to update some of our internal procedures in this newer, more efficient software platform.

Some of the new/updated patient features include:

• An updated Text message system
• A better layout for appointment reminders for families, or for those with multiple appointments
• Update/confirm your patient information prior to your appointment from your own device
• Text, email, and snail mail options for receiving your bill
• Online, phone, and mail options for paying your bill
• Clearer billing statements with line-item accounting for each individual patient.
• And more….

Monday, October 20 will be or first day seeing patients while using the new software. We think it should be pretty seamless on your side of things. The next couple of weeks may take an extra minute or two for us checking you in and out, but we’ll be up-to-speed pretty quickly. We appreciate your understanding as we learn this new system.

This week, Dr. Amy Haeck is celebrating 20 years of serving the Meadville area community! Dr. Amy grew up in Linesville and attended Cedarville College (now Cedarville University) in Ohio for her undergraduate studies.

In 2001, she graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. After completing an additional year of residency training at the University of Michigan, she joined a private practice in West Bloomfield, MI.

In July 2005, Dr. Amy and her husband Nathan moved back to the Meadville area, where she joined the practice of her childhood dentist, Dr. Leonard Barretta, located on Mead Avenue. Dr. Amy took over sole ownership of the practice in 2012.

In July 2017, we moved into our new building on Highway 98. We would like to thank all of our wonderful staff and patients for a great 20 years!
