For nearly three years, Kelly has been a steady, welcoming presence at Juniper Village. She is consistent, kind, and always willing to help, whether that means answering questions, supporting families, assisting residents, or stepping in wherever she’s needed.

Kelly’s calm and dependable nature makes a difference. She shows up every day with a helpful attitude and a heart for service, and that kind of reliability is something we are truly grateful for.

Kelly, thank you for being such an important part of our team and for living out our “People Are Key” mission in the way you serve others. We appreciate you today and every day!

March Community Member Spotlight: Mary Elizabeth Tuggle

Born on December 6, 1937, in the quiet countryside of Stahlstown, Pennsylvania, Mary grew up with a resilience that would define her life. Though her early dream of becoming a flight attendant was paused due to her age, she pivoted with determination, mastering airline computer systems to build a successful career. Whenever one door closed, Mary simply found another way forward.

Despite her professional drive, Mary’s heart has always belonged to her family. She raised four children and takes immense pride in her grandchildren. For Mary, motherhood and family were never just roles—they were her greatest joys. Her love of flower gardening, macramé, and her faith further reflect her vibrant and steady spirit.

Mary lives by the powerful values of honesty and non-judgment, often recalling her mother’s wisdom: “Don’t point your finger at someone; you have three pointing back at you.” Today at Juniper, she remains an active and friendly presence, participating in Bingo and the Bell Choir. A woman of deep faith who isn't afraid to speak her mind, Mary reminds us that a wonderful life is measured by integrity and the love we hold for those closest to us. And in her own words, she has lived a wonderful life.

Paula has been a steady, compassionate presence at Juniper Village for seven years, driven by a genuine desire to ensure every individual feels respected and understood. To Paula, the best part of her work is the sense of family she shares with community members and her leadership team. She finds the most meaning in everyday moments, whether she is providing comfort on a difficult day or sharing a laugh during a good one.

Known for her kindness and humor, Paula naturally builds deep relationships that help those in her care feel truly seen and valued. She is a dedicated advocate for independence, encouraging confidence while living out the mission to nurture the spirit of life.

Our own Chef Lori and DSM, Diana, once again represented Juniper Village at Meadville’s annual Chocoholic Frolic, where several local businesses transform into talented chocolatiers for the day!

Chef Lori showed off her culinary skills as she whipped up several delicious creations that had everyone smiling (and maybe going back for seconds).

At Juniper, we love supporting our community, celebrating local talent, and sharing in the fun that makes Meadville such a special place to call home.

From a Christmas proposal to a wedding during Jim’s Army service in 1960, these high school sweethearts have spent nearly seven decades making each other smile. Jim shares that Bev’s sense of humor is the heartbeat of their relationship—proving that laughter really is the best medicine!
