For nearly ten years, Rondell has been a steady source of compassion and commitment at Juniper Village. Her quiet strength and unwavering dedication ensure that every resident feels safe and cared for, even in the late hours of the night.

Honoring Our Heroes

This Veterans Day, we proudly celebrated and honored the incredible veterans who call Juniper Village home. We shared stories of service, courage, and sacrifice, moments that remind us of the strength and resilience of those who served our country.

A heartfelt thank you to Gentiva Hospice for teaming up with us to make this day so special. Your support helped create a meaningful experience for our community.

We’re proud to share that several of our incredible associates were honored during AseraCare Hospice's recent “Heart of Hospice” awards ceremony at Juniper Village at Meadville! Team members nominated coworkers who exemplify compassion, empathy, and dedication in hospice care.

Tina Orr – Director of Wellness
Tina’s presence brings peace to residents and their families by guiding them through difficult transitions with grace and empathy. Her unwavering commitment to hospice care shines through in her constant education of the care team and her follow-ups to ensure every need is met.

Jill Shaffer – Med Tech
Jill brings a calming presence and listens with empathy. Her coworkers describe her as someone who brings grace and humanity to Juniper Village. Jill truly embodies the heart of hospice through her compassionate care every single day.

Paula Householder – Med Tech
Paula goes above and beyond simply because that’s who she is. She’s knowledgeable, caring, and always striving to provide the best for residents.

Brandee Barnes – Med Tech
Brandee is full of life, and her heart is bigger than her body! She has a gift for making people smile and leaves a lasting impact on everyone around her.

Rosie Nichols – Environmental Services
Rosie’s quiet strength and compassion shine as she sits with those nearing the end of life, offering a silent prayer, and ensuring they are never alone. She checks in with families, listens to their stories, and makes sure their needs are met with love and care.

As we enter the season of gratitude and prepare for Thanksgiving, we reflect on the importance of our local community partnerships. These deeply-rooted connections are an extension of our mission “to be the people, places and programs that nurture the spirit of life,” both inside our walls and beyond.

With 28 locations in five states, each Juniper community has woven its own unique tapestry of ties to the local community. These partnerships are vast and varied. Elementary schools, universities, dance studios, breweries, bakeries, theatres, outdoor clubs, churches, animal shelters, libraries, athletic teams, artists, non-profits, and so many more come into our communities to create experiences that meld passion with purpose.
