We are the Sons
We are the sons of fathers that passed. We are the heirs of their teaching and journey. We are the legacy of fathers' past.
We feel the loss, but we are lost. We had a father to look up to, now we do not.
We have memories of a lifetime, but we feel a void in our life, and we carry on. Our lives continue but we feel a void, a loss. Something we feel but cannot fill it
We are men but still feel the boy inside. Our time has come to step up as our father’s time had come.
We are handed the torch as our father’s last request. We step up, we accept that gift that we were given by our fathers and we carry on.
We inherited them, we carry on in their memory. We are the legacy of our fathers' past.
We lived with them for the time granted us. We learned and grew to adulthood and then they moved on.
We are the sons of fathers' past, carry on with what they taught, with their spirit and their DNA and memory.
So, sons of fathers past, we are brothers that understand each other due to our loss and our mission to carry on.
We are the sons of fathers Past. We are the legacy of their efforts, their love, and discipline.
We are now the men that our fathers made us to be. Carry on as we honor our father that has passed.
