We recently had a visit from Wild Tails and were thrilled to meet one of her newest friends, Hermione. She is a Eurasian eagle owl, and she is truly a magnificent creature. We look forward to hearing more about her and learning alongside her as she continues to grow.

🚨Winter Storm Fern Preparedness Underway🚨

As Winter Storm Fern approaches, we want to send a message to our residents’ families and friends that we are in full preparedness mode.

We have activated our Winter Weather Protocol and taken proactive steps to ensure resident safety and continuity of care, including additional food and essential supplies, emergency and life-safety readiness, generator and fuel planning, medication continuity, and on-site staffing support. Our leadership and regional teams are closely monitoring conditions and are ready to provide additional assistance to communities as needed.

The safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents remain our highest priority before, during, and after the storm.

We are excited to welcome our new RN and Director of Clinical Services to the Mebane Ridge family—Elizabeth D.! 💙

🎓 Elizabeth is a graduate of Mount Olive University, where she earned a dual master’s degree in Education and Leadership. She received her nursing degree from Watts School of Nursing and brings 14 years of experience to our community. 🩺✨

👩‍👧‍👦 Outside of work, Elizabeth is a proud mom of three beautiful children—one daughter and two sons—and enjoys photography 📸. Fun fact: she even shares a birthday with Elvis! 🎶🎂
