Our team is made up of experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to empowering others through education, connection, and support.

Dedicated to community-centered education, CPR/AHA certification, and prehospital skills development for first responders, healthcare students, and organizations throughout central North Carolina. Beyond The Sirens is a first responder and veteran-owned company based in Mebane, North Carolina, proudly serving our community within a 100-mile radius and beyond through both in-person and online programs. Founded by Tyler McKinzey, FP-C, NRP, MHRO—a critical care paramedic with over 13 years of experience in emergency medicine—Beyond The Sirens was created in response to the growing mental health crisis among first responders. Our Mission:
We exist to bridge the gap between clinical excellence and mental wellness in public safety and healthcare. Our mission is to provide high-quality, hands-on training while supporting the personal and professional growth of every student we serve. What We Offer:

AHA Certification Courses:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, Heartsaver CPR/AED, and First Aid

Phlebotomy Training:
In-person and online courses with a full skills kit included; national certification available through AMCA

Personalized Tutoring & Exam Prep:
Tailored prep for NREMT, FP-C, CFRN, and other critical care exams

We had the opportunity to partner with the incredible team at Mebane Pediatric Dentistry for their BLS and PALS certifications, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. Their providers, staff, and doctors leaned in, asked sharp questions, and brought the energy. Tyler had a great time leading the training, and it was a pleasure helping a practice so committed to elevating patient care.
