DCMS is a professional association of 900 physician & affiliate members. It seeks to serve members, the medical community, and citizens of Dauphin County.

The Dauphin County Medical Society founded in 1866, seeks to serve its members, the medical community, and the citizens of Dauphin and surrounding Counties. The Society’s mission includes: upholding the ethics and dignity of the medical profession, elevating and maintaining the highest standards of healthcare, promoting and disseminating medical information to members as well as the public, and promoting collegial relations among its members.

Happy Thanksgiving! Today's all about balance. Yes, savor that incredible stuffing and pie, but remember to fuel your body with some movement and hydration, too:

· 🏃‍♀️ Trot before you Gobble: A morning walk, run, or quick dance session is the perfect appetizer!

· 💧 H2O Hero: Keep a glass of water handy between those plates of gravy. It helps with digestion (and saves room for dessert 😉).

· 🍽️ Savor Every Bite: Eat slowly, enjoy the company, and stop when you feel comfortably full. The food will taste better when you're truly present!

Halloween is here, and it's time for some spooky fun! 🎃👻 Whether you're dressing up, carving pumpkins, or trick-or-treating, remember to keep it safe:

· Stay visible: Use reflective tape on costumes & bags. Carry a flashlight or glow stick so you can be seen in the dark.

· Check your treats: Always check candy before eating it.

· Cross smart: Look both ways before crossing the street & use crosswalks whenever possible.

· Costume check: Make sure costumes fit well to avoid trips &falls. Use face paint instead of masks that can block vision.
