He continued his education at Juniata College in Huntington, Pennsylvania where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. In 1990, Dr. West graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with clinical honors in Low Vision and Primary Eye Care. He began is career as a staff optometrist at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia within their Low Vision Service and Pediatric Contact Lens Service. He was also a staff member at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnwood, Pennsylvania. In June of 1993, Dr. West joined Stoken Wagner Ophthalmic Associates and in 2007, he opened the Mechanicsburg practice, West Eye Associates. He currently sees patients at both locations. Dr. West is a 25 year member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association. Dr West is married and has 3 children. He resides in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania.
