We are a complete care funeral home and crematory with a client family focus in a historic, beautiful and fully renovated Downtown Mechanicsburg location which includes a comfortable beverage cafe and well over 65 private off-street parking spaces. In 1987, my career in funeral service began at this funeral home when I got a job as the car washer. It is a great honor to be back, serving my community as a funeral director and the owner of this funeral home, and now crematory, which has served our community since 1910.

On this day in history . . . We said goodbye to Pete Suder at age 90 in 2006. Pete was an infielder who played second base, third base, and shortstop; he played for the Philadelphia Athletics from 1941-1943 and 1946-1954. We welcomed into the world Patrick Warburtan 61 years ago. Patrick is an actor known for his comedic deep baritone voice. He provided the voice for Kronk in the animated film The Emperor's New Groove and voiced the character Mr. Steve Barkin on the TV series Kim Possible. He has had prominent roles in such films as Big Trouble, Ted and Men in Black II. We also welcomed our very own Kirk Freed 54 years ago.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and sacrifice. On this Veterans Day, we express our deepest gratitude to those who have worn the uniform and defended the freedoms we hold dear.
