We are a complete care funeral home and crematory with a client family focus in a historic, beautiful and fully renovated Downtown Mechanicsburg location which includes a comfortable beverage cafe and well over 65 private off-street parking spaces. In 1987, my career in funeral service began at this funeral home when I got a job as the car washer. It is a great honor to be back, serving my community as a funeral director and the owner of this funeral home, and now crematory, which has served our community since 1910.

“Free at last. Free at last. Thank God Almighty I’m free at last” is on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s headstone. Did you guess correctly? Civil Rights Movement leader Dr Martin Luther King Jr. was laid to rest in Atlanta’s historic South View Cemetery following his assassination in 1968. His widow, Cora Scott King, founded the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and moved Dr King to this tomb in 1970. The quote on his tombstone is taken from an old spiritual and was the conclusion to his famous ‘I have a dream’ speech.
