Finally I’m back in the game! As many know I was not a match to be a kidney donor to my husband. I wanted to continue on to try and be what is called a “swap donor” which means University of MD transplant center will arrange for a "swap," in which each donor gives a kidney to the recipient in the other pair. This allows two transplant candidates to receive organs and two donors to give organs even though the original recipient/donor pairs were incompatible.
The UMD Doctor/ Nurse Coordinator sent me over all of the required Lab slips to basically have every type of blood test drawn you can imagine and some ... I will begin this process within 2 weeks. Please pray that we find I match another recipient to save their life and their donor matches Scott to save my husbands life💚 Again, I have packets of information if anyone wants to look into becoming a living donor or knows of someone. We appreciate the shares. Scott has been doing good lately and more better days than worse like he was. His doctor is still saying his dialysis is not cleansing him enough, but hopefully next week we will receive better news!! Thanks again for everyone’s support.
The secure Pay Pal Link below will continue to run until the end of the year. The funds collected will go to Scott’s Medical Fund for when has a Kidney Transplant and will be out of work and unable to do his hitting lessons for a long while. His medical bills have been chopping down from the help of our community, family and friends.
Scott is in Stage 6 ESRD @ age 41. Stage 5 is usually the worst. He is in need of a Transplant ASAP. He has had more bad weeks lately then good. He has coached many of our kids throughout the years and slowly trying to continue that trend. If anyone would be interested in helping us get some of his....
