Medfield Outreach is dedicated to serving the mental health needs of residents in Medfield. Our program predominantly serves families and youth, however, we are available to all residents of Medfield. Our staff members are trained clinicians who provide a variety of services including free and confidential individual and family counseling, referral to financial assistance programs, community programming, and crisis intervention. In addition, the Outreach office is an intake site for the Fuel Assistance Program (LIHEAP) for Medfield residents. This program operates under the auspices of the Medfield Board of Health and is located adjacent to Medfield High School.

Attention Parents!

Hope Rudzinski of Joseph D. Early Jr., Worcester County District Attorney's Office continues to bring awareness to Healthy Teen Relationships. A virtual presentation for parents and caregivers will be held on Thursday, March 5, 6:30-7:45 PM via Zoom. Knowing or even suspecting that your child is in an unhealthy relationship can be both frustrating and frightening. This webinar will focus on relationship green/red flags, social media vs relationships, stalking awareness, how to help your teen and safety planning. Please register for the Zoom link: https://bit.ly/HealthyTeenRelationshipsWebinar

February is Healthy Teen Relationships Awareness Month, a time to focus on the skills teens need to build respectful, safe, and supportive relationships --with friends, family members, teachers, and dating partners. Learning these skills early helps young people recognize healthy behaviors, set boundaries, communicate effectively, and seek support when something doesn’t feel right.

Northborough Health and Human Services Department and Southborough Youth and Family Services have compiled info and resources: https://www.northboroughma.gov/health-and-human-services/pages/healthy-teen-relationships

You can always reach out to our office as well: 508-393-5040 x4.
