Many of you have seen advertisements for our Come Home To Your Heart Life Event, our first one Oct. 8-10, 2021. I was talking with a friend and she informed me she wasn’t entirely clear on what it was!
I was so glad she said something.
It’s more intimate than a workshop though you will learn. It’s not a conference because that can sound too sterile. Rather, it’s a weekend open to men and women, couples, singles, young (must be 16 yrs of age) and old who are in need of some good tools that will help them connect with Jesus. The ability to Come Home To Your Heart is our greatest desire for you. Coming home to your heart means you are connecting to your emotions, becoming comfortable with them and are learning how to listen to your heart identifying anything that stands in the way from connecting with Jesus and yourself, i.e., fear, abandonment, rejection, learned helplessness, and more.
It’s very hard to connect with Jesus, yourself and others if you have not learned to listen to what your heart is saying to you without condemning yourself, running away, hiding or shutting down. Many of us have not learned to deal with big emotions and become afraid of what we’re feeling because we have no idea what to do with them. This is especially true in the culture we are living in today.
If this sounds like you at all, this weekend is for you!
If you often feel numb or easily distracted or experience anxiety or an inner restlessness, this weekend is for you.
If you are disappointed with life, feel like it works for others and you can believe for others but not yourself, this weekend is for you!
In fact, if you have a pulse, this weekend is for you.
Without condemnation or judgment you will learn tools to begin listening to and understanding your heart,
what that looks like and how to begin the process.
While there will be a group of us together, it is very much your own individual journey and every person will receive healing from Jesus. We will worship, laugh, cry, share, experience, engage and encounter!
You will not be disappointed - our guest speaker Susan Wright has walked through her own healing as well as walking with others for several decades working with thousands of people from all walks of life. God has given her an incredible gift of ministering Jesus and freedom to everyone she comes in contact with.
