✨ Airport Delay… or Nervous System Practice?
My 11am flight was delayed to 2:35pm today.
In the past, that might have triggered frustration, rushing thoughts, and a full sympathetic nervous system response.
BUT today I chose something different.
Because the truth is…
When something is out of your control, you have two choices:
You can stay in stress mode, upset and irritated all day…
or you can activate your parasympathetic nervous system and go with the flow.
So while waiting at the airport I did my morning ritual, got my nails done, took a few slow breaths, and reminded myself:
God may be working on something behind the scenes that we cannot see.
Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is release control, trust the process, and protect our peace.
