During our Ramadan activity we discussed cultural traditions, and created colorful lanterns. A traditional symbol of light, hope, and reflection, while sharing meaningful conversations about holiday customs, prayer, family gatherings, and acts of kindness.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, reminisce, and honor the rich traditions that bring communities together. Moments like these remind us how special it is to celebrate diversity and foster understanding within our home.

With this weekend’s blizzard, getting staff to come in through the conditions would be tough.
What stood out was what happened next.

So many staff members and department heads showed up anyway, stepping in wherever needed and going far beyond their usual roles to make sure our residents received the care and attention they deserve. No fuss, no complaints — just people doing what had to be done and more.

A huge thank you to Heather, Cristina, Jamelle, Melissa, Laura, Jessica, Anthony, Ava, Nick and many others who went above and beyond! This kind of teamwork and dedication is something really special to witness and can only happen at a place as special as MMC😄

💜💚💛 Our residents had a fantastic time celebrating Mardi Gras with decorative masks, music, beads, festive king cake, and lots of laughter! The room was filled with smiles, dancing, and that joyful New Orleans spirit. 🎭🎹🎶

It’s always a great day when we can celebrate together and make memories that sparkle just like our beads! ✨

💘Our Valentine’s Day social was filled with music, laughter, and so much love 💝

Live entertainment music from Alex Alexander set the perfect tone. You could truly feel the love in the room. 🎶🎤🎸

We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of kindness from our community outreach. A heartfelt thank you to Eastern Suffolk BOCES students for the beautiful handmade fresh long-stemmed roses, and to members of Integrity Church for the thoughtful gift bags filled with delicious chocolate sweets and delightful surprises. 🌹🍫

One of the sweetest moments of the day was the granddaughter of one of our nursing staff hand-delivering flowers in her shopping cart, bringing smiles wherever she went. 🥰

We are so grateful for the love, generosity, and community spirit shared with our residents. 🫶💕

Residents enjoyed thumbprint hearts, collages, beading jewelry, heart-themed games, and more, keeping everyone engaged, smiling, and making memories together. 💕

💕 Valentine’s Day Candygrams were a sweet success! 💕

Another year SOLD OUT and thanks to everyone’s support, we raised over $300 for our Resident Council Fund! 🍬❤️

Along with spreading smiles and treats, we also took the opportunity to promote awareness for American Heart Month and the importance of cardiovascular health and wellness.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event so meaningful for our residents. Your kindness truly makes a difference! 💌

Thank you Eastern Suffolk Board of Cooperative Educational Services (ESBOCES) for our beautiful roses for Valentine’s Day 🌹 Our residents were delighted to receive them - stay tuned for pics 💕

A collaboration between Jennifer Farrish’s Project SEARCH students and Danielle Merrill’s Horticulture class at will bring Valentine’s Day smiles to the residents of Medford Multicare Center, where Farrish’s students intern. Horticulture prepared single stem rose bouquets, which the Project SEARCH students will present to all the residents at the facility. THANK YOU everyone for donating your time to this heartwarming endeavor!
