We are a cooperative of exceptionally talented, self employed hair stylists, massage therapists, estheticians, eyelash extension and nail technicians. 141 years of Medford… and we’re proud to be part of that story 🤍

Our building at Lotus Hair Body & Soul was built in 1909 — and these photos show just how many lives it has lived before us. From horse-drawn carriages to early Main Street storefronts to the downtown we know today… these walls have seen it all.

That vintage business card you see? It’s for the building next door — and it’s the same sign that’s still painted on our exposed brick inside. A little piece of Medford history living right here with us. ✨

And one of my favorite details… a historic newspaper article from the early 1900s mentioned there weren’t enough places to tie up horses downtown. Parking problems… even back then. 😉

There’s something really special about creating modern beauty inside a space with this much story. We’re just the next chapter.

Grateful to call this 1909 beauty home. 🤍
