🎬 Ashland Learning Differences Parent Support Group

Our March gathering will be one week earlier than usual due to spring break.

Join us for a relaxed evening of connection with other parents and caregivers while we watch the film The Dyslexic Advantage and talk together about supporting kids with different learning styles.

This group is a welcoming space to share experiences, resources, and community while navigating the journey of raising children with a wide range of strengths and support needs.

📣 Free Training Series for Self Advocates in Oregon

The Oregon Self Advocacy Coalition is partnering with the Oregon Office of Developmental Disabilities Services to offer a 5-part Zoom training on the Self Advocate Guide to I/DD Services.

🗓 Wednesdays | 3–4 PM
March 19 – April 16

Learn about I/DD services in Oregon, your rights, ISP meetings, the Oregon Needs Assessment, and how to advocate for your good life.

You’ll be registered for the full series, but you can attend any sessions you choose.

Join us for an American Sign Language (ASL)–centered book club exploring Seeing Voices by Oliver Sacks. This thoughtful book looks at Deaf culture, language, and the importance of American Sign Language.

Participants will receive a free book, and we’ll gather for three conversations at Barnes & Noble in Medford. You’re welcome to attend one session, a few, or all of them.

Discussions will take place in ASL with voice interpretation provided.
