What words can you encourage us with today?

Whether you were hoping to watch Brandon get hit over the head with a chair, or you’re just here to support what we do (thank you!), we hope you will help us spread the word about our upcoming gala fundraiser, held this year at Bigham Knoll Campus in Jacksonville on November 15th 🩷 we only have a few more seats to sell until we have a full house, and we are extremely excited this year to be able to honor some special guests whose kind actions towards just one person had a ripple effect that impacted our entire community.

Words of Wednesday ~

CREATIVE WRITING CLASS HIGHLIGHT ✨

SURRENDER-
“I have had to surrender to the fact that I can be toxic too. Everything is not always everyone else’s fault. Sometimes I do the wrong thing, sometimes I’m not grateful. I’ve lied, I’ve cheated, I’ve stole things. I am not perfect, I am not better than anyone. I’m just me at the end of the day, and being me is not always pretty. Sometimes it’s ugly and mean. I sometimes act more conceited than I do confident. Sometimes I think I’m horrible, other times I think I’m great. Having to surrender to the fact that I can be toxic, so that I can teach myself to be a better me. Everything takes time, and I will never be perfect. Everything isn’t always what it seems, don’t judge a book by its cover. Sometimes the cover is beautiful, but what’s inside that book can be very ugly. Sometimes the cover is ugly, but what’s inside that book is beautiful. I’m glad I get to surrender to a better me every day for the rest of my life. I’m glad I’m not perfect. I’m happy that I am trying, because trying is better than saying I can’t.”

Recovery holds so many gifts and talents.

🦃 Thanksgiving is almost here, and we need your help! 🍂

Every year, we host a special Thanksgiving dinner for our members. It is a special time of year for us to gather, share a meal, and feel the love of community and family. It’s more than food on a plate… it’s belonging, hope, and connection.

We’re asking for donations of turkeys, hams, and pies to help us make this day special for those who may not have anywhere else to go this year.

If you’d like to donate or learn more about how you can help, please reach out to us!
Together, we can make this Thanksgiving filled with warmth, gratitude, and community. 🧡

What a gift it is to be a part of something so powerful, so moving in the lives of others, and so beautiful in your own life.

Thank you for choosing your recovery!

We love you, TT!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Support doesn’t always look the same… sometimes it’s a listening ear, other times it’s a boundary, a break, or a brave conversation. Wherever you are in the journey, you don’t have to walk it alone.

CRAFT Family Support reminds us that support has many faces, and you may have different needs at different times.
