Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! ❄️⭐️ We hope your all have a peaceful and healthy time with friends and family, but we're here if you need us! All clinics will be closed at 6 on Christmas Eve, and South Medford and Grants Pass are open 10-4 on Christmas Day. All clinics will be open at normal on the 26th.

Career Highlight tours are one of our favorite things to do at Valley Immediate Care 👩‍🔬 Last week, students from Gladiola High School got to try their hand at splinting, suturing, and x-ray, as well as tour the clinic and talk with providers, MAs, and receptionists about what the exciting world of urgent care is like! 🩺 It is so much fun to get to talk with these amazing students, and let them explore the opportunities in healthcare! 🩻

The STEM Hub helped launch the Bus Project in 2021. Then through the Team Oregon Build Initiative, partnership with Valley Immediate Care and support from Jackson Care Connect, Justin Eagar and his students at The Innovation Academy are building out a 'Mobile Medical Bus'.

It's been a minute, but we're back with a good old-fashioned 🩻 Here we have an externa fixator keeping a distal radial fracture in place. This hardware is on the outside, and probably looks pretty hardcore 🦾 It's holding everything in place so the fracture heals properly, because any misalignment could mean trouble and pain down the line.

Urgent Care has to be nimble to respond to the needs in our community, and we communicate regularly with public health officials in our counties to know what is going around 🦠 Wastewater monitoring is a fascinating tool from public health and we often can relate the results to what we see in the clinics! 🩺🔬 Make sure to stay safe this flu season! 🦠🧼
