Excessive exposure to UV radiation can cause longterm consequences for your eyes, therefore, sunglasses are important for people of all ages - not just adults! Grab a pair for everyone in your family and enjoy summer safely!

It’s ! The eye health of our youth matters more than ever before.

Myopia, or short-sightedness, affects the youth and is sharply rising in prevalence world-wide. In many East Asian countries, one in two children aged 10 years and above is myopic. By 2050, nearly half of the world’s population will be myopic.

COVID-19 has significantly raised the stakes and increased the burden of myopia. Evidence from across the globe found that the COVID lockdowns caused a surge in near based activities and less time outdoors, resulting in a spike in prevalence, incidence (new cases of myopia) and progression of myopia.

Now, more than ever, it is important to practice proper eye hygiene by taking frequent breaks and getting outside to exercise your eyes!
