Fair Acres is committed to enhancing the quality of life for our residents by strengthening overall independence and individuality. As the largest skilled nursing facility in Delaware County, we are owned and operated by the County of Delaware. The facility is approved for operation by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and is certified for participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs by the United States Department of Health and Human Services and the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare. Fair Acres is also a member of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Affiliated Healthcare and Living Communities. We are proud to offer our residents long-term care, short-term rehabilitation, respite care and a multitude of additional services. We are conveniently located in Lima, PA on a 210-acre campus which consists of 18 buildings. We meet our residents care needs in (5) different resident buildings. We are licensed to provide care for 874 residents, who range in age from young adult to senior. Fair Acres employs a staff of over 900; this consists of a well-trained team of physicians, nurses, therapists and ancillary personnel who together are committed to providing the care and services needed to meet the individual resident’s physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
