Is your cat extra clingy?
If your cat follows you into the bathroom…. Congratulations- you have zero privacy now!

They’re either making sure you’re safe (in their mind) or just refusing to let you out of sight
It might mean they love you…
But it can also mean they’re bored, stressed, or not feeling well.

Cats don’t always show illness in obvious ways-sometimes they just stick closer.

If it’s a new vet, it’s always worth checking

PSA! Your cat isn’t lazy.. they’re just under stimulated. Playtime is essential for cats because it mimics their natural hunting instincts, keeping them both physically active and mentally stimulated. Regular playtime helps prevent obesity, reduce stress, and can decrease unwanted behaviors like biting or nighttime zoomies. Just 10-15 minutes of playtime per day can significantly improve your cats overall health and quality of life.

Dental disease is one of the most common issues we see in cats- and most hide it incredibly well. A dental isn’t just a cleaning.. it’s real pain relief.

Why the burrito wrap? 🌯

It helps keep kittens safe, secure, and stress-free during exams and treatments—while protecting those tiny (but mighty) claws.

🐾 Going Above and Beyond for Our Patients 🐾

At our hospital, caring for animals isn’t just our job, it’s our passion. Recently, Doctors Peltz, Issac, and Kersting stayed late after hours alongside our amazing Certified Veterinary Technician, Laura, to perform an emergency surgery on a sweet kitty who had swallowed a foreign object and became very sick.

Situations like this can quickly become life-threatening, and this team didn’t hesitate for a second. They remained after a long day, working together to safely remove the object and give this kitty the care it desperately needed.

We are incredibly proud of their dedication, compassion, and willingness to go the extra mile for our patients. Moments like this truly show the heart behind veterinary medicine. 💙🐱

Please join us in thanking this wonderful team for their hard work and commitment to helping animals when they need it most!

Meet Iggy 🐾
Iggy recently stopped by The Cat Hospital of Media because he wasn't feeling his best. His humans noticed some sneezing, congestion, and runny eyes—classic signs of a feline upper respiratory infection (basically a kitty cold).
The good news? Iggy got checked out, started treatment, and is already on the road to feeling better!
Upper respiratory infections are pretty common in cats and can look a lot like a cold in people. If your cat is showing signs like:
• Sneezing
• Runny eyes or nose
• Congestion
• Decreased appetite
…it's always a good idea to have them checked by your vet.
Iggy was a brave little patient and handled his visit like a pro. We're sending him lots of healing purrs while he recovers! 😺
