GrowNOW ADHD Parent Training: Sorry, parents, I know removing screens from your child’s life is hard - very hard. But telling ourselves that there’s a possibility our kids can learn “skills” to balance tech and still do other non-preferred tasks is a PIPE DREAM. It cannot happen. Either you eliminate, set strict limits, or the tech will control their brain.

Screens are experience killers. Once a phone or addictive game comes into their life - it’s all they ever want to do. Everything else is boring and stupid. The only other thing that can stimulate their brain is conflict, arguing, and negotiation. No, not a bad character or malicuous. Their brain is just does what works and feels good
