Looking forward to celebrating our 10 year anniversary this year. This picture was taken in 2016 and has three of the original board members Ben Cabildo, Jim Patterson, and Jan Bailey.
Each one of these community leaders had their own strengths that they shared to help build the foundation of our organization. Ben, has such great leadership skills. As well as a tremendous amount of experience in the nonprofit sector. His desire to help others connect and particularly to see small businesses thrive was a key part of our current success.
Jim, shared his passion for the community and history of the area. He was instrumental in helping Ben with historical video. He loved to speak to area groups about the history of Medical Lake. Giving rides in his Model T’s was a tremendous experience for visitors to the area.
Jan, brought enthusiasm and passion to the group. She had worked in other communities to support them with their efforts. She volunteered and offered space at her place of employment for our original meeting place for several months until we outgrew it. Her quick wit was always appreciated.
All three of these community leaders had a great commitment to helping others. We are grateful for the support they gave us. We hope that each one of them will come to celebrate the anniversary with us.
