Meet Our Staff Non Skilled

Meet Kelly. She is part of Home Health Non Skilled Team. She goes above and beyond for her client. We cannot say enough about her! She even decorated her clients door. Way to go Kelly!

Hello there, I have been with InCare Ohio since the end of May 2024 and I am part of the family taking care of family program. I couldn't think of a better job than to spend everyday with my dad. Who else is better to take care of family than your family. As you can tell I'm a family gal. I have two sons Dylan(16) and Maximus(8) and two fur babies Jezebel and Chug. Halloween is my ultimate favorite holiday and I even volunteer at the Carnival of horror every now and then. In my spare time I enjoy shooting pool in my league, bowling (175avg) playing cards, shooting darts, playing inside/outside games with the kiddos and of course spending quality time with family.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn our lives around or even just our day around. Keep smiling 😁 and being a positive influence on our clients because for some, we are all they have. It is an honor.

Meet Our Team Hospice.

Scott Sommer is our Columbus area Chaplain. He joined our team in June of 2021 and has been such a compassionate person. We are lucky to have such a great person as part of our team. It truly takes a special person to do what he does day in and day out and it does not go unnoticed.

From Scott - Hello! I'm Scott Sommer and I'm part of the Columbus InCare team. I've got 4 kids, one wife and a 15-20lb. overweight chocolate lab that keeps me busy. I love backpacking, hunting and writing. I also serve as a federal chaplain for two agencies. It's a privilege to have a job that enables me to step into critical moments to offer kindness & hope to others!

Meet Our Team - Home Health - Skilled

Meet Tyler Maxwell. He is at a PTA that joined our team in 2023. He really hit the ground running and has become such an essential member of the InCare team. He does a great job with his patients and wants to see them get better. Thank you Tyler for having such compassion and always being willing to help. We appreciate you.

From Tyler - I like spending my free time outdoors when the weather allows, being with friends, traveling, and video games. I also do bodybuilding which is what led to me getting into the PT field, but now I just enjoy seeing my patients progress and being able to help them live a healthier/ more functional lifestyle.

Meet Lisa Klema. She has been with our Hospice division since 2022. She has always done a fantastic job. Lisa takes great care of her patients and really cares. We are extremely lucky to have her as part of our Akron/Canton team. We appreciate you and everything you do.

From Lisa - I've been a STNA for 12 years. I love helping and spending time with my patients. My hobbies are painting or drawing in sketch books and on canvas. I like cars, trucks and watching drag racing. My 2 kids mean the world to me and my dog is my best friend. I love bonfires. I'm at my most peaceful when I'm in or around the woods. The quiet sounds of nature. Fall is my favorite time of year. If I could live somewhere that stays fall all year long I would.

Introducing our Home Health Community Liaison Bud! Bud has a big presence is the Mahoning/Trumball and Columbiana Territory. If you see him out and about say hi! Bud joined the Home Health Team in 2019. Bud quickly became a big part of our Team. He is compassionate and goes the extra mile for everyone. We could go on and on all day about him.

From Bud - I've been in marketing and patient coordination for home health for almost 20 years. I have a passion for helping others when they need help the most. I grew up in a medical family and always knew that integrity and reputation was going to be part of my life no matter my profession and it has. I'm an animal lover and have been a cat dad for almost 30 years. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology. My catholic faith also plays a big part of my nature & my life.
